Our ministry exists to reach the youth of our church and community. The ministry is to help youth share in the fellowship of God’s family, grow in their faith, and praise God with their lives.
In everything we do, our youth ministry values Christ-centeredness, love, sacrificial service, hospitality, joy and thanksgiving, safety, and Christ-like leadership. We embody these values in all of our events in hopes that our example will instill those same values in our students.
Summer is coming...
That's right, the summer is creeping ever closer! All of our summer events have been posted to our calendar below, and a printable version of the calendar is available here. This summer our youth ministry will have two big trips. The first is a four day spiritual retreat, Shout it from the Mountains. We'll travel to Blue Mountain, Georgia and stay in a cabin on the mountainside. During the trip students will dive deep into the meaning of the gospel, practice prayer and meditation, learn about Christian fellowship, go white water rafting, and zip-line through the Georgia mountains! Our second trip will be at the very end of the summer: the Mystery Trip. Mystery Trip is, well, a mystery! We'll go to a top secret location and do something...mysterious. This is our way of ending the summer with a bang. Before the summer begins, we're offering parents a discount on both of these big trips. On March 26th at 5:30pm, parents and students are invited to the Bryan Youth Center for our Summer Sale, to learn more about what our summer has in store and to sign up for our big trips early. If you sign up at the Summer Sale you'll save big on both of our trips! Take a look at the costs below:

This summer our theme is "King of the Summer". We'll walk through the gospel of Mark and discover the good news: Jesus is King of all creation! We'll learn what it means for Jesus to be king as well as what it means for us to follow such a king. To fit into this theme, we'll be rocking some awesome new tank tops. The shirts are free for students who sign up for the "Shout it from the Mountains" retreat. If you can't sign up early, don't worry! One of these great shirts can be yours for just $15! Our Calendar & Events
C.R.E.W. on Wednesday
Our youth meet every Wednesday night from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Bryan Youth Center for C.R.E.W. (Christians Ready Equipped & Willing). This month our theme is "Made in His Image: Male and Female". This is a three part lesson series. In week one guys and girls will split up. Guys will learn about biblical manhood from youth director Cody Westcott while the girls dive into biblical womanhood with Pastor Darian Duckworth. In week two girls and guys will swap, so that girls are learning about manhood from Cody while the guys learn about womanhood from Pastor Darian. In the final week of this series we'll come together to talk about how male and female cooperate and live together through friendship, romance, marriage, and more. We share a meal together each week after the lesson. Take a look at our calendar above for more details on where we're eating!
Soul Care Sundays
We meet Sundays from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Bryan Youth Center for Soul Care Sunday. Our goal for these meetings is to show students how to live with God in a practical way. We have Wesleyan small groups every other Sunday led by church members and college students from MSU’s Wesley Foundation. Students learn to reflect on their faith and walk with God in these groups with their peers. Other Soul Care Sundays may be a worship circle (where we explore uncommon ways of worship such as painting, poetry, song, etc.), service work, or other special events.
Youth Sunday School
Our Sunday school class meets Sundays at 10:00am prior to our church service. Members of our church teach the class in Bryan Youth Center. We aim to help our students understand scripture and faith.
