The psalmist invites us to travel with a community of faith into the Lord’s presence. At First United Methodist Church of West Point, our feet stand together on the corner of Broad and Mill Streets to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our church building has many physical doors — and many doors of opportunity to serve, learn, and grow together. Come and worship with us, spend time with your brothers and sisters, and let us transform the world together as we make disciples for Jesus Christ! I look forward to seeing you soon.

Sunday Morning Worship: As a reminder from the latest guidelines, the CDC no longer requires masks for those who are fully vaccinated and still recommends that those who are not vaccinated wear masks.  Beginning Sunday, May 23, masks are optional on Sunday mornings and will be available in both services for those who wish to wear them.  Please remember that there are a number of reasons people may still wish to to mask or are not yet vaccinated, and let us be sensitive to those needs.  Over the next few weeks, we will begin reopening some pews in the 11Am service.  For those who still want more space for social distancing, remember that there is plenty of room to spread out in the 8:45 AM service.  We will continue to encourage regular hand washing at the sanitizer stations.
