On-going Programs:

Adult Sunday School is an important part of FUMC.  These groups not only join together to study the Bible but also fellowship and form meaningful relationships.  Sunday school begins at 9:45 am.

SOYA (Slightly Older Young Adult) Bible Study - is offered on Wednesday nights while the children participate in Children's Choir

Short-term Bible Studies - a variety of short term Bible Studies have been offered at FUMC.

United Methodist Women - This group is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.  This group develops a creative, supportive fellowship and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  There are several circles within UMW that meet on a monthly basis:

  • Marcella Joiner Circle - meet 2nd Tuesdays at 9:30 am
  • Lochie Millard Circle - meet 2nd Tuesday at 9:30 am
  • Ruth Weems Circle - meet 3rd Monday at 6:00 pm

Other Activities:

Methodist Purls - A group of members who meet each week and knit together.  This group meets on the second floor in the Wesley Wasson Room #204 each Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM.

Bunco Group - The Bunco Group meets on the third Thursday each month to play Bunco in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Melanie Sanders for more information.

Bridge Group - This group meets on each Wednesdays at 1:30 PM in the Wesley Wasson SS classroom to play bridge.  Contact Gail Foote for more information.
